Join Geneva Long, CEO of Bowlus, as she talks about air conditioner design in RVs and showcases the air condition performance in the Bowlus.

During the display, we go from a temperature of over 102 degrees to 68 degrees off-grid from the Bowlus Power Management System.

FAQs

The Bowlus Endless Highways offers two main kitchen configurations below the countertop: the Standard Kitchen and the Convection Oven Kitchen. Both feature high-quality stainless steel countertops, induction cooktops, and a 12-volt fridge with a freezer, but they differ in their appliance and storage layout.

The standard setup is designed for maximum storage efficiency and ease of use:
Appliances: Includes a microwave that can run directly off the lithium battery system.
Storage: Features two deep storage drawers located beneath the microwave for easy access to cookware and supplies.
Fridge/Freezer: A 12-volt refrigerator with an integrated freezer compartment.
Luxe Package Enhancements: If you select the Luxe Package, your kitchen is further upgraded with two upper aluminum shelves on either side of the galley and a large, specialized galley drawer.

The Convection Oven Kitchen is an upgrade for travelers who want more versatile cooking capabilities (baking, roasting, and convection) while on the road.
The Appliance: A larger convection oven replaces the standard microwave.
Storage Trade-offs: Because the convection oven is larger than the microwave, the storage layout is modified. Instead of two drawers, you receive one single, extra-deep drawer designed to hold larger pots or pantry items.
Cabinet Adjustments: To accommodate the larger oven unit, the cabinet on the side opposite the fridge is slightly smaller than the one found in the standard configuration.

Regardless of which appliance package you choose, every Bowlus kitchen is a chef’s galley built with premium materials:
Countertops: Work surfaces are high-grade, durable stainless steel.
Sink & Faucet: Large sinks with a pull-out faucet that extends far enough to be used for various cleaning tasks.
Induction Cooktop: Fast, safe, and efficient induction cooking that integrates seamlessly with the Bowlus power system.
Refrigerator: A high-efficiency 12-volt fridge with freezer is standard in both configurations.

Choose the Standard Kitchen if you prioritize maximum drawer storage and primarily use a microwave for quick heating or simple meals.
Choose the Convection Oven Kitchen if you enjoy more complex cooking, such as roasting or baking, and don’t mind trading a bit of cabinet width and one drawer for the added culinary flexibility.

Hi, I’m Geneva Long, CEO of Bowlus, and today I’m going to show you our convection oven kitchen option and how it differs from our standard kitchen. This option is available on our Endless Highways models. We’ll start with the standard kitchen setup before popping over to the convection oven version to highlight the differences, specifically in the area below the countertops.

In our standard kitchen, you have a microwave that can run entirely off the batteries, paired with two deep storage drawers located directly beneath it. These provide excellent access for your kitchen essentials. On the opposite side, you’ll find the 12-volt fridge with freezer, an induction cooktop, and storage cabinets on both sides. If you opt for the Luxe Package, you also get two additional upper shelves and an extra drawer, which are not featured on the base Endless Highways.

The convection oven kitchen option changes the configuration below the counter to accommodate the larger appliance. Because the convection oven takes up more vertical space than a standard microwave, you move from two drawers down to one. However, that single drawer is significantly deeper to maximize its storage capacity. Additionally, while the cabinet on the fridge side remains the same size, the cabinet on the opposite side is slightly smaller to make room for the oven.

Despite these changes, you still enjoy the same high-end features like stainless steel countertops, a 12-volt fridge/freezer, and an induction cooktop. Choosing between the two comes down to whether you prioritize the versatility of a convection oven or the extra cabinet and drawer space of the standard microwave setup.
