The Best Way to Buy an RV

Hi, I’m Geneva Long, CEO of Bowlus. At Bowlus, we have a configured order model where our owners build their Bowlus with their preferred features and we build it accordingly. In a traditional dealership model, dealers often inflate the prices, add unwanted extras, and push you into higher profit inventory. Configure to order eliminates this by letting you configure exactly what you want without negotiation stress or pricing games.

Configure to order also gives you exactly what you want. You can customize your Bowlus with the exact trim, color, and features you need. No more settling for whatever is on the lot or paying for features that you don’t want. Mass-produced RVs with excess inventory floods the market causing, steep depreciation for those models. By embracing configure to order, we avoid overproduction, leading to better resale values for you. Because you get exactly what you want, you’re also less likely to trade in early, reducing market churn. And that makes the Bowlus make sense for an RV loan of up to 240 months if that’s the direction that you want to go in.

Now, let’s talk about how you can configure your Bowlus. First, reach out to us to connect with a knowledgeable member of our sales team. Online, we have a fabulous configurator to select the type of options that you might like. Now, I’m going to show you on our website of how you can navigate to our configure to order and build your Bowlus.

So this is how you navigate to our configurator. So on any page on bowlus.com you can go to shopping tools and configure your Bowlus right here. And from here you’ll be able to scroll down and select your model. So we have the Rivet, the Endless Highways and the Endless Highways 95th Anniversary Edition. Let’s get started on the Rivet with the available options. So, on the Rivet, we have a few options. First, we have the Adventure Package that includes the 3-in lift and the Goodyear Wrangler Duratec tires. We then have the option to add the Off-Grid Power Package 1 and that includes 8 kW hours of lithium iron phosphate batteries and Aerosolar. You then also have the option to add AeroMove. Now please note that AeroMove requires the addition of the Adventure Package as well. King bed in the bedroom is standard in the Rivet but there’s a no cost option if you want to change that to the twin bed configuration. And then there’s also the smart television option. After you select your options you’re interested in, you’ll be able to see your base price, your selected packages and options, as well as the applicable tax credit. You’ll be able to save this configuration and speak to a member of our sales team.

Now, let’s move on to the Endless Highways. I’m going to select this drop down for the Endless Highways. And here we can see all the available packages and options. So, first we have the Adventure Package that has the 3-in lift, the Gear Wrangler Duratec tires, the cargo lashing L-track system. We then have the option of selecting between Off-Grid Power Package I and Off-Grid Power Package II. Now, the difference in these is the battery size. Both of them come with Aerosolar. So, the off-grid Power Package I has 8 kilowatt hours of lithium iron phosphate batteries and Power Package II has 17. Please note the base has four and so you’re choosing to upgrade depending on that. If you’re looking to do more off-grid camping, I’d certainly recommend Off-Grid Power Package II so I’ll select that one for this example here.

You then have the option for the Luxe Package. Now, that includes the beautiful birch walls and ceilings, extended mirror polish and ceramic coating, two-stage water filtration, HEPA air filter, continuous hot water, heated floors, two large skylights with blinds, Starlink satellite internet ready, tablet mount in the living room and bedroom, charging station, the storable outdoor cafe and sofa side table, pet bowls which go in the drawer in the living room, two aluminum shelves in the galley, a large galley drawer, shower soap bottles and drying line, propane tank cover, 50 gallons of freshwater capacity, including the portable water that can be stored in the shower, 30 gallons of gray water capacity, upgraded seating in River Rock, upgraded flooring in Birch, a rear bumper with a backup camera, bridge facade and this takes the exterior length from 26’9 in to 27′ 2 in. The interior options include the smart television and the convection oven. On the exterior, we have the AreoMove option and this requires the addition of that Adventure Package and integrated Starlink option which requires the Luxe package. Once you’ve selected your options, you’ll be able to go up, see your base price, total selected package and options, total tax credit, and you’ll be able to save this configuration and speak to a member of our sales team.

Now, next we’ll go on to the Endless Highways 95th Anniversary Edition. Now, the 95th Anniversary Edition includes a lot of the packages you saw in the Endless Highways, but it also includes some special options that aren’t available on any other Bowlus. So, in the 95th Anniversary, you have the Adventure Package, the Luxe package, Off-Grid Power Pack II, the fantastic, beautifully made screen door, Adventure Edition color palettes, now these come in both Osprey and Falcon and Anniversary Edition badging. You can also choose to add four options. On the interior, we have the smart television and we have the convection oven kitchen. Now, on the exterior, we have AeroMove and integrated Starlink. Both of the other required packages, the AeroMove with the Adventure Edition and integrated Starlink with the Luxe package are already included in the 95th Anniversary. After you’ve selected your options, you’ll be able to scroll up, see your base price, selected options and packages, total price, tax credit, and you’ll be able to save this configuration and speak to a member of our sales team.
